SAJ credits its success to the integrity of its fine-quality and unique jewels. As a result, we are very confident that our diamond jewelry will surpass even your highest expectations. However, if you are not fully satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return the merchandise within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of shipment for a refund.*
Refund Procedure
Refunds will be made in the original form of payment. SAJ will accept the return of undamaged merchandise, in original condition and packaging, with the following requirements:
- Give Us a Call: Before returning any item, please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-888-551-6706 or send us an email request at sales@southafricanjewels.com to obtain a Return Authorization Code
- Prepare Your Package: A Return Authorization Code must be referenced on the paperwork enclosed with your return and clearly marked on the outside of the shipping package. All returns must be shipped to the address provided by Customer Service. SAJ is not responsible for any loss or damage. Please note that all diamond jewelry returns must be accompanied by the original matching or identifying diamond certification document, appraisal document, and grading report(s). If the original jewelry report and The Gem ID Cardâ„¢ are not included with the returned merchandise, the customer will be charged a replacement fee for any missing document (Certificate - $50.00, Gem ID Card - $25.00).
- Insure Your Package: The total amount of the item that you have purchased is the amount that will be insured. If the value of the item is less than US$500.00, you can ship your package via any carrier that provides insurance. However, make sure you request a return receipt confirming that your package has reached SAJ.
If the value of the item is more than US$500.00, you can ship your package via US Postal Service Registered Mail. However, make sure you request a return receipt confirming that your package has reached SAJ.
*All returned items will be inspected by our Quality Assurance department prior to issuance of refunds or exchanges. Please note that items showing signs of wear or those that have been engraved, altered, resized (by a jeweler other than SAJ) or damaged in any way or returned merchandise containing no Return Authorization Code and/or packages that are improperly packaged or uninsured will be refused and not qualify for a refund. Properly returned and undamaged/unaltered merchandise will be refunded in full, EXCLUDING shipping and handling costs. SAJ will not be responsible for any loss of or damage to returned packages.
